Spend time in social visits, talking, hand massage... Our Dementia Specific Nursing Home in Phillip Bay (Sth East Sydney) is in great need of some caring, patient and understanding people to spend time in social visits with some of our residents and assist during the lunch hour.

Volunteers are needed to spend time in short visits, helping with hand massage, reminiscing, singing or just being there for someone. CumboOTs.com represents all OT student year groups (past, current and future) who study or have studied at The University of Sydney, Cumberland Campus.

Why Cumbo OTs?

The cruise, entitled “We’ll Float Your Boat” attracted some 261 students in October 2006, and proved to be a fantastic night cruising the harbour with good music, drinks, pizza and of course oozed "Cumbo" spirit! All ‘boat-floaters’ eagerly dressed to the theme of “I can’t believe you’re wearing THAT!” ... it was soon recognised that this was a valuble exercise. So, Why stop there! What we noticed was that we did not have a place that all our OT colleagues could stay up to date and so CumboOTs.com was born. With the help of the many other enthusiastic CumboOT's this site continues to grow and our CumboOT spirit is well and truely taking the Cumberland campus by storm.

Who can use CumboOT's.com?

Anyone! especially those of you who are enrolled or have been enrolled as an OT at Cumbo!!

CumboOTs.com is accessible to all. Whether you are still studying or have graduated. Regualar events and the Cumbo Spirit always just a click away!

CumboOTs.com aims to promote cohesion, communication, interaction and overall spirit amongst our OT student body, which we hope will continue beyond University and into our future careers as OT professionals.
