CanTeen

Only a few hours of your time & no experience necessary
Help young people living with cancer
Be part of reaching our goal of selling 1 million bandannas!

National Bandanna Day is the annual awareness day and fundraising event of CanTeen. Once a year CanTeen asks people to buy a $3 bandanna and wear it to show their support.

On Friday 26 October 2007, CanTeen will promote National Bandanna Day, in which thousands of individuals will participate. This year we are aiming to sell well over 1 million bandannas Australia-wide.

All funds raised from this day will enable CanTeen to maintain and expand the programs it offers to its Members Australia-wide.Why bandannas? Certain forms of cancer treatment result in hair loss and many young people choose to wear a bandanna during this time. It is for this reason that the bandanna was chosen as a symbol for CanTeen.

CanTeen bandannas are bright, lots of fun and feature the lively CanTeen logo designed by Ken Done. How can you help? All you need to do is register to help sell bandannas, pick up your selling kit and funky Industrie t-shirt, put on your smile and then sell sell sell. Remember no experience is necessary!
