Resident Weekend Caretakers

Ronald McDonald House

Overnight accommodation is provided as well as full training.

CALLING ALL “KIND HEARTED” PEOPLE WHO “WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE”
Ronald McDonald House is a residential facility for families of seriously ill children who are receiving treatment at Princess Margaret Hospital. We are urgently seeking the services of Volunteer Resident Weekend Caretakers (couples preferred) who would be willing to look after this wonderful facility from 8.00am Saturday to 5.00pm Sunday on an ongoing basis.

Ideally we would like two couples who can work alternative weekends. Overnight accommodation is provided as well as full training. It is envisaged that the Caretakers will undertake a high level of responsibility within the residence after hours. We are looking for people who don’t mind mucking in around the House whether it be; greeting and settling in new residents, picking up a mop and duster to clean the facility, as well as some gardening, cooking up a batch of scones and basic maintenance duties as required.

All interested parties will be required to produce a Working with Children Check, current Police Clearance and one personal character reference.

We are seeking people who are available for an immediate start. If this position interests you, please give the House a call on 9382 2960 or email ourhouse@rmhwa.com.au
