Facilitate a Workshop for a popular Youth Program

Manly Council

Tuesday 4th of December 3.30pm-5.30pm

Do you have an interest in crafts or beading

Manly Library hosts a variety of programs to engage youth in various activities. Each month the library hosts a Whatever Club for teenagers, the club is advertised through various local schools and attracts students who want to participant in extra activities.

The club aims to provide a safe and supported environment for students to socialise and learn a new skill, for example the students have previously completed workshops involving knitting, knot tying and various other craft or educational activities.

We are searching for a volunteer who can facilitate other craft activities, such as beading. All materials will be provided including resources such as library books which will assist students in learning this skill.

If you have an interest and enjoy crafts or have any suggestions for beneficial workshops this is a great opportunity to share your passion and gain mentoring or teaching experience.

Please contact Juliana for more detail volunteering@manly.nsw.gov.au
I look forward to hearing from you!
