Gift Wrap for a Cause

Children`s Medical Research Institute

15-24 December 2007
It`s FUN and a great cause
You don`t have to be an expert!

Become a Christmas genie!
Genies will be out and about during this joyful season, spreading their Christmas cheer and volunteering to help shoppers with their gifts.

What are Christmas genies? ... They are wonderful volunteers who work hard to support Jeans for Genes, and among their many talents have a special one for this time of year – lovely gift wrapping.

Jeans for Genes volunteers will be staffing the gift wrap station at Shopping Centres from 15-24 December. Please help and become a genie too... simply call Lynda Dave at CMRI on (p) 02 8865 2838 or email at ldave@cmri.com.au

You can also visit our website www.jeans4genes.com.au

Shoppers are now able to not only get there gifts beautifully wrapped, but continue to support one of Australia’s most worthy causes – children’s health. Shoppers will donate $2, $3 and $5 to have their gifts wrapped and all donations received through the program will be given directly to Jeans for Genes. Jeans for Genes is the main fundraising initiative for the Children’s Medical Research Institute (CMRI) - an Australian based not-for-profit organisation which conducts basic research to understand childhood genetic diseases such as, Leukaemia, Epilepsy and Cystic Fibrosis.

So this festive season, Australian’s are encouraged to spread a little cheer of their own by supporting the future health of children. Christmas Genies can be found at a convenient location at Shopping Centres during Christmas trading hours.
