What the hell is OT?

The USyd Information Day, held 3 January from 8:30 to 4:00 at main campus --Camperdown is the last chance for prospective students, newly armed with UAI results, to decide which uni to attend and what program to enrol in.... we will be advocating .... OT OF COURSE!!!!!!

Students and staff are invited to volunteer a few hours to staff the OT booth, give out OT Brochures and answer questions that new students might have about OT and studying at USyd. There will also be 2 mini lectures.

If you're available any time during the day and can spare a few hours we'd love you to come along. Please let us know ASAP so we can let the marketing team know who will be present before Christmas break.

Make-A-Wish® Australia

Various Volunteer Positions
Various positions available throughout Australia

The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Australia® grants hundreds of cherished wishes per year to children around Australia, who are between the ages of 4 and 18, and are living with life-threatening illnesses.

We currently have openings for volunteers throughout our 52 branches nation-wide, in both urban and rural areas. We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable people, over the age of 18, who are able to offer an ongoing commitment to our organisation. Our volunteers comprise people of all ages, cultural backgrounds, life stages, and professions. The thing they all share in common is the desire to help other people. Volunteers are required for the activities of fundraising, granting wishes, and promoting the work of the Foundation within the community. Each Branch of the Foundation is a dedicated group of people who meet once a month at a central location to discuss wishes in progress, up coming events, and provide support to each other. Our volunteers put in many hours of work to ensure that the wishes of the children are granted in a very special way.

Please note that all applicants will be subject to a police background check before becoming members of Make-A-Wish.If you would like to take part in making children’s dreams come true by becoming a volunteer for Make-A-Wish, please contact Anne at angawati@makeawish.org.au
